The surgery is very much aware of Movember .  The symbol of the moustache is a powerful symbol for increasing awareness of  ‘better men’s health’.

It is the month when men are challenged to grow a moustache during November. This can be to raise funds for ‘men related health’ a list is suggested below.

This moustache symbol is used as a catalyst to promote awareness and discussion to allow men to have the opportunity and confidence to learn and talk about their health and seek support and guidance when needed.

Https://uk.movember.com  guides men FIVE WAYS to give them the best chance at living a healthy and long life as outlined below:

  1. ‘Stay connected’ – catch up with mates. Useful resource can be found at https://converstations.movember.com ALEC conversation Strategy A (Ask) L (listen) E (encourage action) C (check in)

Next month it is my intention to give information about Women’s Health.
